The Global Episcopacy Committee of the Global Methodist Church is pleased to continue the assignment of Mark J. Webb as Bishop of the Great Lakes Annual Conference, effective November 1, 2024.  Bishop Webb has served as the episcopal leader of the conference since its inception.

Conference Superintendent

The Great Lakes Annual Conference (GL AC) is pleased to introduce Rev. Dr. Scott Pattison as our Conference Superintendent.  Conference Superintendent Pattison was appointed by Bishop Mark J. Webb in consultation with the Leadership Council, Committee on Superintendency, and the Cabinet of the Great Lakes Conference, effective January 1, 2025.

Connectional Council

The Connectional Council serves as the strategic heart of our conference, bringing together clergy and lay leaders to coordinate and strengthen our shared ministry. This diverse group of dedicated leaders meets monthly to ensure our various ministry areas work together effectively and align with our conference's mission, values, and strategic plan.

Working year-round, the Connectional Council oversees our conference's strategic direction, manages our resources wisely, and helps coordinate the work of our various ministry boards, teams, and committees. They are responsible for important tasks like strategic planning, budget oversight, and ensuring our conference policies align with our mission and values. Think of them as a dedicated team of navigators, helping to chart our course and keep our various ministries moving forward together in service to Christ.
